Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)

The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) of Mata Sita Sunder College of Education is constituted to look into the complaints lodged by students, parents, faculty, and other stakeholders, ensuring a fair, impartial, and timely resolution.


Objective and Scope

The main objective of the GRC is to:

  • Address and resolve the grievances of students and staff promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a harmonious educational environment free from discrimination, harassment, and unfair treatment.
  • Ensure adherence to the policies and regulations set by the institution and regulatory bodies.

Areas of Grievance

Grievances related to the following areas can be brought before the committee:

  • Academic matters (e.g., marks, evaluation, academic standards).
  • Financial matters (e.g., fee payments, refunds, financial aid).
  • Infrastructure and Maintenance issues.
  • Internal administrative and managerial decisions.
  • Issues related to harassment or unfair treatment (excluding those covered by the Anti-Ragging or ICC).

Composition of the GRC 

The GRC is constituted with the following members, drawn from different levels of the institution:

Grievance Submission Procedure

  1. Formal Submission: The aggrieved party must submit a written application (or use the online grievance form, if available) detailing the complaint, supporting documents, and the desired remedy.
  2. Submission Point: Applications should be submitted to the **Member Secretary of the GRC** or dropped in the designated Grievance Box located on campus.
  3. Contact for Submission:
  4. Resolution: The GRC will convene, investigate the complaint, and communicate its final recommendation/resolution to the aggrieved party within a defined time frame (15-30 working days).

All grievances are handled confidentially. Students and staff are encouraged to use the GRC mechanism to resolve conflicts constructively.
