At Muzaffarpur College of Professional Education, we understand that many students have the talent and dedication to succeed but may face financial difficulties. To support such students, the Government of Bihar introduced the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme on 2nd October 2016.

Students taking admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy, Diploma in Pharmacy, BBA, BCA, MCA, MBA, and PGDM can apply under this scheme and receive financial assistance to continue their higher education without stress.

What the Scheme Provides

Under this scheme, eligible students can receive:

Education loan up to ₹4,00,000

Simple interest rate of 4% per year

Lower interest rate for female students and certain special categories

No need to provide any collateral or security

Easy repayment after course completion

This support helps students focus on learning and building their future instead of worrying about finances.

Who Can Apply

Students can apply if they:

Are residents of Bihar

Have completed Class 12th from Bihar

Are between 18 and 25 years of age

Have family annual income up to ₹6 lakhs

Have secured admission in an approved course

Documents Required

Applicants need to submit:

Class 12th mark sheet

Admission confirmation letter

Course fee details

Domicile certificate

Identity proof (Aadhaar or Voter ID)

Income certificate

Bank account details

Photograph and signature

How to Apply

The application process is simple and online. Students need to register on the official MNSSBY portal, fill in the required details, upload documents, and submit the form. After verification, the loan amount is approved and disbursed as per the guidelines.
